hmh, i'd say that in a way it has the same atmosphere about it? both seem very quiet moments, yet there's a tension in them. as the description for this one says (that was a really interesting read, too - i love seeing symbolism in paintings - i got a little trained in that by my art history teacher at DMS, only a little though), too. two women, slightly same positioning, too. :)
sometimes a picture or person reminds one of something that doesn't seem even a bit alike, yet there is *something* about both. :)
i like Briar's cards a lot. not all of them the same, but especially these pagan winter cards are really beautiful works.
