first of all:
in case that i don't reply to a post of you - SORRY!
i'm slightly distracted when i'm sick and i might miss one and not even notice. seriously. i've currently exchanged most of the sore throat for an ouch nose and lots of sneezing which is ouch too and makes me feel as if my head's about to explode. oh, and nope, i'm not going into such detail here to get lots of pity, i just do it so i keep you updated on my current state of cold. *lol* hey, i have to get *some* fun out of it, eh?
have i mentioned that my eyes feel dry and don't like to look at the screen at all?
anyway...
really, if i miss a post, nudge me. or email me. whatever. it's nothing personal. it's just the cold. i still love you.
work...
let's not go there. pouty's turned into the ultimate *what have i to do with it?* thus i'd love to see her off flying from 13th floor right into a tree and stay hanging there in the cold for 2 hours. frozen state might keep her mouth shut for a while.
i'll live from this image today.
else...
sort of dragged myself to a shop yesterday that hadn't what i was looking for anyway. by some chance found a slightly cheaper book (english), title *The Last Of The Templars*... sounds very intriguing. kinda mystery and stuff. will be one of the next reads.
then dragged myself home. cooked. actually something self-invented that turned into very, very delicious!
recipe:
ingredients:
2 filets of salmon (or other fish you like)
1 slice of pumpkin (as much as you like really)
nutmeg
salt
pepper (i used herbal pepper - sort of a mixture)
cut pumpkin in pieces and cook in salted water until it's sort of cooked... doesn't need to be mash, but you should be able to squeeze it into a good mix once it's cooked and the water's poured away.
add nutmeg and salt - as much as you like.
take a baking dish, salt and pepper the filets and lay them into the dish.
add the pumpkin mix.
cover with lid or aluminium foil.
put into oven and bake at 150°C until the fish is done. i think it took about 30-40 minutes. not sure there.
fits well with rice, maybe also potatoes.
bon appetit!
worked on a drawing yesterday, but only for a bit… sort of like it so far… we'll see how it'll turn out. not sure about the colours, yet. working with black ink so far…
ah, and I won an auction overnight! a videoclips dvd of Myléne Farmer for about £4.50 which is super-cheap as her dvds cost £16-£18 which is really a lot - doesn't matter if you order them here or buy them in France. sniffle. I was lucky to find one on that auction as usually you don't find anything of her there. aw! so… I've 2 more videoclip dvds and 3 - soon 4 - concert dvds to get now. errr… I guess I can't hope for them to turn up on auction. sigh.
excited about this one though! if I'm really lucky they might have put two of the usual videoclips videotapes on this ONE dvd. fingers crossed!
Daniela's sent me the addy of a Myléne webpage that has her lyrics translated into German which helps a lot. her lyrics tend to be very complicated and very symbolic. if i translate them myself i often get only single words and have no clue what it all is about. tricky!
I don't know if I'll go to irish dance today. I just feel so wrecked. thing is that we won't be enough there to do the choreographies anyway, so it might not be that *bad* if I don't go. I guess we'd be training single steps of the choreos then and I already know all of them well enough. I'd love to go, but my head's still ouch and I feel so weak. I'll see if I'll be any better by the afternoon.
currently I'm living on my beechams supply. beechams rules!
oh, and mum's texted me - she's done some shopping for moi yesterday. yay! good mum! very good mum! :D
